Reviewing cutting edge evidence to answer questions such as:

“What is a healthy diet?”
"What is the truth behind the fat/sugar media storm?"
“How can food be used to prevent and treat different problems and diseases?" and "Does the way food is produced affect health?"

It will provide research data and practical advice for clinicians and patients on the therapuetic uses of different culinary herbs and spices and explore the myths and science behind different sorts of popular diets.  It will also showcase practical examples from general practice, care homes, schools and local communities where food-related interventions are producing an evidence base of improved outcomes.  Clinicians and patients attending should come away with resources and information that can be applied directly into their everyday practice and lives.
