British Dyslexia Association

The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) provides information and support for parents, education and health professionals and policymakers. They also provide a national framework for the many regional associations affiliated to the BDA.

The BDA website states:

The BDA is the voice of dyslexic people. Our vision is that of a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people to reach their potential.

The BDA has three campaign areas:

1. To encourage schools to work towards becoming dyslexia-friendly.
2. To reduce the number of dyslexic young people in the criminal justice system.
3. To enable dyslexic people to achieve their potential in the workplace.
