18 September 2005 - BUPA Great North Run

This event - the world's biggest half marathon - celebrates it's 25th staging on 18th September in the north east. Taking part and running to raise funds for FAB Research, is Yvonne Gray, an employee in the Malmaison Hotel Group.

Yvonne is part of a 50 strong team who between them hope to raise £50,000 for charity. Each runner has selected a charity of their choice and has an individual target to raise of £1000. Currently Yvonne has raised £450 in sponsorship from colleagues, family and friends, and with only two weeks to go until the run, we'd like to help in any way we can to boost her sponsorship total.

As well as seeking sponsors, Yvonne has been selling raffle tickets for a 2-night stay for 2 people, including B & B, at the Malmaison Hotel in Newcastle, a fantastic prize, generously donated by her boss! Raffle tickets cost £2 each or £5 for a strip of 5.

Telephone or email Fiona O'Fee for verification and send your sponsorship monies to the address below. For raffle tickets, include your full name, address and telephone number and when we receive your raffle money, Yvonne will be notified and will send out your raffle tickets direct.

It is intended to draw the raffle during the evening of the event when a champagne celebration takes place. Details of the winner will be notified to you and we will look forward to reporting back to you on the outcome of the event and total sum raised by Yvonne for FAB.
