An international symposium with a focus on original and alternative medicine (CAM) research, it provides a forum for anyone with an interest in this area, and offers a unique opportunity to discuss key issues such as effectiveness, safety and costs in critical yet open-minded debate.

The main programme of the symposium consists of two days of oral and poster presentations, complemented by workshops.

Highlights for 2007 include:

  • Paediatric CAM research day (11th December) chaired by Sunita Vohra, University of Alberta, Canada
  • CAM Practitioner research workshop (13th December)chaired by John Dent, Complementary Therapists Association, UK
